PARIS -- Italys Matteo Arnaldi produced a sensational performance to take out sixth seed Andrey Rublev and advance to the third round of the French Open. The unheralded Italian, ranked 35th in the world, upset Rublev in four sets, winning 7-6, 8-6, 6-2, and 6-4.

Arnaldi's win was one of the biggest of his career, and the Italian was visibly thrilled with his victory. He said that he had played some of his best tennis ever and that he was excited to continue his run in the tournament.
