England captain Harry Kane says he is feeling as fit as I have all season and is getting fitter with each game as the Three Lions prepare for their Euro 2024 quarter-final against Ukraine.
Kane has been in impressive form for England at the tournament, scoring three goals in four games, and he says he is relishing the challenge of leading his country to glory.
"I'm feeling good," said Kane. "I'm feeling as fit as I have all season and I'm getting fitter with each game. I'm really enjoying my football at the moment and I'm excited about what we can achieve as a team.
"We've had a good tournament so far. We've won three out of our four games and we've played some good football. We're not getting ahead of ourselves, but we're confident that we can go all the way."
Kane also hit out at former England stars who have criticized the team's performances at the tournament.
"I think it's important for former players to remember that they were once in our shoes," said Kane. "They should be supporting us, not criticizing us.
"We're a young team and we're still learning. We're going to make mistakes, but we're going to learn from them and we're going to get better.
"We don't need their negativity. We need their support."
